Spring is a wonderful time to celebrate the changing of the season. Decorate your bulletin board with spring flowers all around the border. Coordinate a springtime craft project for your preschoolers to create construction paper flowers with big petals and a round center. Take pictures of each child with a digital camera, cut out the pictures and have them paste their pictures in the center of their paper flower to display on the bulletin board.
The Fourth of July is a special event for everyone in the U.S. Let your preschooler celebrate with a special bulletin board dressed in the motif of the American flag. Have the children coordinate with an easy craft project by tracing large red and blue stars on paper and cutting them out. Then take a photo of each child and have them paste the photos onto their cut-out stars to be placed on the flag bulletin board.
When the fall colors start to take over the landscape, you'll know that summer has given way to autumn. Use the intense colors of fall to dress up your bulletin board with cut-out acorns around the border. For the center display, cut out a large tree with many branches. Then have your preschool children cut out red, gold and orange leaves to hold their pictures and to be placed on the tree branches.
Christmas is a magical time for children and you can make a special bulletin board for your preschoolers with a blinking tree light border and candy canes. Then have the children create paper Christmas ornaments in the shape of Christmas bells, snowmen or wreaths. Take the children's pictures with a Santa hat on their heads and have them paste their photos on the ornaments for the bulletin board. When the season is over, they will each have a special Christmas ornament to keep.
