How to Clear Names on Leapster Learning Pad

The Leapster educational learning pads offer children the ability to learn while playing games. Leapster stores your children's names and allows you to save games to reduce repetitiveness. Depending on the Leapster model that you have, you may only be able to enter a few names per console. You can clear names and add new players to the Leapster console at any time.

Instructions

  Enter the player profile screen on your Leapster.

  Locate the "Home" button, the "A" button and the "Left" arrow key on your Leapster controller.

  Press and hold down the "Home" button.

  Press and hold down the "A" button, while continuing to hold down the "Home" button.

  Press and hold down the "Left" arrow button, while continuing to hold down the "Home" and "A" buttons.

  Wait for an "X" to appear under the list of names that are stored on your Leapster.

  Press the "X" and then follow the audible instructions to finish clearing the names you desire.
