How to Write and Learn With a Letter Pad

Drawing Shapes

  Press the "Drawing Shapes" activity button at the top of the Letter Pad. This will open any activities related to drawing shapes.

  Press any of the 26 letter buttons. The Letter Pad will show you what shapes are needed to write the chosen letter on the interactive screen.

  Practice drawing those shapes on the writing pad. Push the check mark icon and your drawing will appear on the screen.

Letter Writing

  Press the "Letter Writing" activity button at the top of the Letter Pad. This will start the letter writing activities.

  Press any of the 26 letter buttons. The Letter Pad will say the letter name and it's phonetic sound. Watch the interactive screen to see how each letter is formed.

  Practice writing these strokes on the writing pad. Press the check mark icon and the letter you just wrote will appear on the screen.

Doodle 'n Draw

  Press the "Doodle 'n Draw" activity button at the top of the letter pad. This will open the step-by-step activity to show you how to draw objects that relate to each letter.

  Press any of the 26 letter buttons. Listen for the letter name and a related object. Watch how the object is drawn, step-by-step on the interactive screen.

  Practice drawing the object on the writing pad. Press the check mark icon when you are finished and the object that you drew will appear on the screen.
