What is considered a school campus?

A school campus encompasses all the land and buildings owned or controlled by a school and used for educational purposes. This includes much more than just classrooms. It can broadly encompass:

* Academic Buildings: Classrooms, labs, libraries, administrative offices, lecture halls.

* Support Facilities: Cafeterias, gyms, auditoriums, theaters, sports fields, swimming pools.

* Residential Facilities (if applicable): Dormitories, student housing, faculty housing.

* Outdoor Spaces: Playgrounds, gardens, parking lots, walkways, green spaces.

* Related Buildings: Maintenance facilities, security buildings, etc.

The exact boundaries of a campus can vary greatly depending on the size and type of school (elementary, high school, university, etc.). A small elementary school might only consist of one building and a small playground, while a large university campus could span many city blocks and include numerous buildings and facilities. The key is that the land and buildings are directly associated with and used for the school's operations and educational activities.
