Purchase heavy-weight paper in the preferred color. The weight of the paper needs to be appropriate for the printer you're using. Typically diplomas are made in muted colors.
Buy self-adhesive foil stickers to put on the printed diploma to give it an official, professional look. Foil stickers can be found at craft stores. Some stickers have embossed words on them such as "Graduation," "Good job" and "Way to go."
Print the diploma on your heavy-weight paper.
Review the finished diploma for printing, spelling and punctuation errors. Sign the diploma to designate the validity of the document.
