Navigate to the MMLA online math assessment website by using the link listed in the resources below.
Read the assessment items for second grade. Choose a variety of problems to test your child with by checking the box next to the problem, making sure that you have a good sample representative of all the various types of problems. There are more than 100 problems available so be sure to choose a number that your child can complete in a reasonable amount of time based on your own teaching experience.
Click the "Generate Test Documents" button in the upper right corner of the website.
Choose either "Retrieve Test PDF Files" or one of the various customization options, such as adding or removing items, creating custom headers and directions, re-ordering the test questions, or previewing the student and teacher tests, answer sheets, or GCLE analysis.
Print out your documents or save them to your computer.
Administer the test to your second grade student. Grade the test.
Plan lessons for your student that concentrate on their weaknesses to give them more practice.
