In addition, emergency assistance is made available through this fund for homeschooling families who have been affected by a natural disaster and other related emergencies.
The Widows Fund, started in 2000, provides financial assistance to widowed spouses who wish to continue to educate their children at home. The funding provides help with purchasing curriculum in addition to other emergency needs. Applications are available on the Home School Foundation website.
This fund is designed to provide financial assistance to homeschooled children of Christian single parents. There must be a financial need, and families may only receive this fund once. Applications are available on the Home School Foundation website.
This fund is available for families who are struggling financially while providing homeschooling for a child with disabilities. This fund helps with therapies, specialized equipment, technology needs and other factors. Families must have a financial need as well as be a member of the Home School Foundation for a minimum of six consecutive months.
The Members Helping Members fund assists families who are interested in joining the Home School Foundation, but are financially unable to, by providing full or partial membership scholarships.
This fund is awarded for academic excellence to homeschooled children who wish to attend Patrick Henry College. Children may apply online for this fund on the Home School Foundation website.
