How to Change the Lead in a Mechanical Pencil

Mechanical pencils enable you to use a graphite pencil without the need to sharpen it. Instead of using a pencil sharpener, you simply click the eraser end on the mechanical pencil to push out more graphite lead. Once the lead runs out in the mechanical pencil, you do not have to throw the pencil away. You can refill the pencil with more graphite leads to use it again. You can replace the graphite leads as many times as you want.
