Many schools also provide a free lunch to students in order to aid families during this tough economic time, something that cannot be offered while homeschooling.
Children are isolated from differences in race, ethnicity, age and culture when being homeschooled. This can cause children to not experience as much about society and those different from them as they would in a public or private school setting. Experiences are left out of childhood that could have been gained through attendance at school in a multicultural classroom.
