    • Founded in 1987 by writer Philip Schultz, this downtown Greenwich-based writing school offers 10-week courses for people wanting to improve their craft, as well as offering private tutoring for teenagers aged 14 -18.     • Don't let the name fool you; this Upper East Side neighborhood course offers fiction writing as well as poetry. Students can attend different literary seminars and workshops held by experienced authors, including Stephen Wright and Lore Segal. The students gain a deeper appreciation for their craft while drafting new prose and submitting it for an expert's critique.
