How to Cite a Source From an Anthology

An anthology is a book that contains multiple works by multiple authors. They can be any literature, from stories to poetry and short essays. To reference a work from an anthology in any written essay, you must know the correct way to cite the source. Two common styles of citation used for essays are Modern Language Association (MLA) and American Psychological Association (APA). MLA style is commonly used for humanities, while APA style is used for the sciences. With certain guidelines, both styles allow you to properly cite your sources so that you avoid plagiarism.
