Schools on Tuckpointing

Tuckpointing is a masonry technique in which craftsmen use two contrasting colors of mortar in brick work. One of the colors matches the brick, therefore giving the impression that the mortar application is very thin. The technique was developed in England in the late eighteenth century to imitate the use of rubbed bricks. Tuckpointing is a technique that will be learned through enrollment in a masonry program.
