The Regency Beauty Institute has many locations throughout the United States. Unlike most multi-location programs, Regency offers a single curriculum across all locations and adjusts the hours of training to meet the requirements for each state. Credit hour requirements may range from 1,500 hours to 1,800, and financial aid is available.

Gene Juarez offers two academies located in and around the Seattle, Washington, area. This school draws in students from around the region and the nation, where they learn the latest style and design techniques, such as cut, color, foiling, low and high lights. Practical business courses are also offered in such areas as practical clientele building methods and portfolio management.
Courses are scheduled for three days a week, 10 hours per day to enable students to complete the 1,600 hour program in just a little more than a year. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.
