    • The Johnson Rehabilitation Institute or JFK was founded in 1974 and is a vocational rehabilitation institute for adults and high school students who have learning disabilities or other challenges. Students between the ages of 15 and 21, as well as adults, can be accepted into the program. JFK offers two on-campus training programs: the professional office skills training program and the laboratory assistant training program. JFK also offers individual and group counseling at their New Jersey locations.

    University of Wisconsin -- Stout

    • The Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (SVRI) is part of the University of Wisconsin and is located in Menominee, Wisconsin. Founded in the 1960s, the SVRI provides services, training and research to assist persons with disabilities in working and leading more productive lives. Among the training offered by SVRI are absence management, aging, ethics, job placement, transition, vocational education and social security. Online or on-campus classes are available to accommodate students needs. Students can work towards a bachelor of science in professional communication and emerging media or a master of science in technical and professional communication with various minors.

    Kessler Institute For Rehabilitation

    • The Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation focuses on assisting individuals with training to develop skills and strategies to enter or re-enter the job market. Services are offered to clients who are 17 years old and older and returning to school or the workforce after an injury, illness or a substance abuse recovery. Students take part in hands-on work tasks both at Kessler and throughout the community. Other services provided by Kessler include career counseling services such as resume writing and job placement. Kessler has three New Jersey locations.
