Master's Degrees in Aviation Safety

Aviation safety looks at equipment, procedures and policies that affect air safety. This can include airplanes, helicopters, light aircraft and hot air balloons.       Breyer State University in Los Angeles, California, offers an online master's degree in aviation management. This program covers eight courses for a total of 38 semester hours. The tuition fee is $500 per course as of 2011.

      Located in Melbourne, Florida, the College of Aeronautics at the Florida Institute of Technology offers an MS degree in applied aviation safety. This 36-credit-hour program is designed to meet the professional growth of a person who has a wide range of interests in aviation. The tuition fee is $1,040 per credit hour as of 2011.
