Use bright colors to decorate your shoe boxes, transforming them into robots. You can make a male and a female robot, and even give them names. Paint the entire outside of the box with a single color. Cut a piece of black paper to make the robot face, which should cover the upper half of the box; you can glue wiggle eyes and paint a mouth and other facial elements with white paint. Decorate the body of your robot with paint of other colors or small pieces of paper. You can make the arms with pipe cleaners and the legs with glued Styrofoam balls. For the feet, cut a ball in half.
Glue or tape the shoe box's lid to the box and then wrap the box with silver foil paper. Use a paper plate to make the robot's face. Put the box in a vertical position and attach the plate to the top. Make the eyes with coins, buttons or wrap a bottle cap with silver foil paper. Decorate the body of the robot by gluing nuts and bolts to it. Use cardboard toilet paper rolls wrapped in silver foil paper to make the legs and arms.
Tape or glue the box's lid to the box. Buy pasta of different shapes. Glue the pasta on the shoe box, creating patterns for the robot's body. Let it dry. Use a smaller cardboard box to make the robot's head, and glue pasta on the top to make its hair. Select four toothpaste boxes to make the arms and legs. Buy a spray paint in your favorite metallic color. Spray all cardboard boxes. Leave them to dry, and then attach legs and arms to the robot's body. Make the facial expressions with a black marker.
Discard the box' s lid and put your shoe box in a vertical position. Cut off the top end of the box. Put the box on your face, with the cut end close to your neck. With a pencil, mark on the box where to cut holes for the eyes and mouth. Draw eyes and mouth and cut them out. Paint and decorate your mask according to your taste. Make two holes on the sides of your mask and attach a piece of elastic thread to keep it to place.
