Sew yo-yos together to create an exclusive handbag. You can use colorful yo-yos or use the same color or fabric pattern. Use a piece of cotton or satin to sew a lining for your handbag and make the handles with ribbons or braided fabric. Glue the yo-yos on a strip of fabric or leather to make a yo-yo belt. To make a hair band, sew yo-yos on a strip of fabric.
Stack yo-yos together by inserting a needle with a long thread through the center of the yo-yos. Make yo-yo stacks as long as you want; use then to make the legs and arms of your doll. Make the head and body by stuffing a sock with leftover fabric. You can use small yo-yos to make your doll's eyes, mouth and nose. Attach nylon threads to the end of your doll's legs and arms and transform it into a puppet. Also make an octopus or a spider puppet using stacked yo-yos.
Create a decorative pillow cover with yo-yos. Make sure you use the right number of yo-yos by organizing them on the top of the pillow envelope cover you want to decorate. Once you know the correct number of yo-yos needed, start stitching them onto the pillow's envelope cover, creating your favorite pattern. Alternatively, sew them to the pillow's cover side by side, covering it completely. To make a quilt, sew the yo-yos side by side into rows and then sew the rows.
Stitch yo-yos together to create placemats. For square and rectangular placemats, stitch the yo-yos side-by-side in rows and columns. Use yo-yos of different sizes to make round placemats. Start with a larger yo-yo in the center, stitching smaller ones around it, until you get the desired placemat size. Use your creativity and make placemats of different shapes, such as snowflakes, flowers or hearts.
