Grants to Start Christian Schools

There are various grants available which can help you start a Christian school. Some are targeted toward certain populations like those in low-income communities. Doing adequate research to make certain that you meet the eligibility requirements for the grants you apply for is important. Some grants may be national, while others are given only to institutions in a certain area.
  1. The Department of Education

    • The U.S. Department of Education has many grants available for various educational and education-related institutions. Some funding may be available for private schools. Private schools can participate in the No Child Left Behind Program, for instance. Such opportunities have been provided through legislation like the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, among other laws. Contact the Department to see what aid your school may be eligible for.
