Start your Dreamweaver CS4 software. Click the HTML option below the "New Column" in the splash screen (the opening screen) that is displayed.
Click the "Save As" option from the "File" menu on the main Dreamweaver CS4 menu bar. Type the name of file, "firstwebsite", in the "File Name" box in the "Save Document" dialog box that appears. Select the "All Documents" option from the "Save as type" text box. Click the "Save" button to save the file.
Click the "Insert" option on the Dreamweaver CS4 main menu bar to navigate to the flash movie import option (Insert>Media>SWF). From the "Insert" menu click the "Media" menu option. From the "Media" menu option click the "SWF" option to import a Flash movie.
Select a file from the "Select File" dialog box that appears. Click the flash animation file (with extension "swf") that you want to import. Click the "OK" button to close the "Select File" dialog box. Click the "OK" button on the "Object Tag Accessibility Attributes" dialog box (leave the text boxes blank for this example) to close this dialog box and import your Flash movie into your Dreamweaver Web page.
Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard to position the mouse cursor below the movie you imported.
Click the "Insert" option on the Dreamweaver CS4 main menu bar. From the "Insert" menu click the "Image" menu option. Select an Adobe Photoshop file from the "Select Image Source" dialog box that appears. Click a Photoshop file (with extension "psd") from the file list. Click the "OK" button to close the "Select Image Source" dialog box. Click the "OK" button on the "Image Preview" dialog box(leave the settings the same in the "Image Preview" dialog box for this example) to close this dialog box and import your Photoshop image into your Dreamweaver Web page.
Click the "File" menu on the Dreamweaver CS4 main menu bar to navigate (File>Preview in Browser>iExplore) to the "IExplore" Web site preview option. Select the "Preview in Browser" menu option from the "File" menu then select the "iExplore" option from the "Preview in Browser" menu to preview your Web page in the Internet Explorer browser.
