Instructions

    • 1

Add the melt and pour soap base to the glass bowl. Choose a soap base that corresponds with the benefits or texture you want to use. You can purchase goat milk, aloe, olive, glycerin and other types at a craft or hobby supply shop.

    • 2

Melt the soap base in a microwave on high for two minutes. This melts it into a thin liquid.

    • 3

Stir in the coconut carrier oil. Coconut carrier oil helps the formula create a lather while thinning out the essential oils added to the recipe.

    • 4

Mix a blend of essential oils equaling around 20 drops, or an 1/8 of an oz. Depending on the scents and benefits you want to incorporate with your soap recipe, different blends include raspberry leaf and chamomile, vanilla and lavender, and many more. Use your imagination in creating your essential oil blend.

    • 5

Add the essential oil blend to the melted soap mixture. Stir to thoroughly disperse the fragrant oils into it.

    • 6

Pour the melted, scented mixture into the soap molds. This recipe fills two 4 oz. soap molds.
