Make a complete list of things that you must accomplish the following day. Assemble this list at the start of each day or -- even better -- the night before.
Prioritize list items according to importance using a numbering system. This priority order is not necessarily the order in which you will complete the tasks.
Categorize the numbered, prioritized tasks using alphabetic letters to assign them into groups, based on the location where they are to be done and the dependency of one task on another. For example, if tasks No. 2 and No. 5 both require use of the computer but neither can be completed until task No. 1, a computer maintenance item, is accomplished, then categorize these three tasks as group "A." In this example, group "A" tasks will be the first ones to be performed.
