It offers specialized study in audit process, information technology governance, systems and infrastructure life cycle and information technology service as well as support, protection of information assets and business continuity and disaster recovery. Its certification requirements include passing the CISA exam (offered annually in December) plus five years of experience. Previous years of college study can be substituted for years of experience.

Preston University offers specialized study in audit process, information technology governance, systems and infrastructure life cycle, information technology service and support, protection of information assets and business continuity and disaster recovery. Instructors focus on these six areas to secure students' passage of the certification exam with a minimum score of 75 percent. The exams are offered annually during the months of June and December. The length of the course is scheduled for 12 weekends with courses beginning in September and March.
