    • Apron's Cooking School is a brand of culinary program offered at Publix grocery stores that includes a variety of classes for cooking enthusiasts of every interest. Several Tampa-area renowned chefs teach classes at Apron's, allowing students to get first-hand knowledge about what it takes to succeed in the restaurant industry. Classes are offered in such diverse areas as international cuisine, sushi and wine pairing.

    La Maison Gourmet

    • La Maison Gourmet is a restaurant that also offers both an intensive culinary program and fun cooking classes for the casual food lover. Classes range from lessons how to properly cut several types of food to how to make sauces, stocks and soups from scratch. In the summer, La Maison Gourmet offers a kid's cooking day camp. La Maison Gourmet is located in Dunedin, on the northern edge of the Tampa Bay area.

    Young Chefs Academy

    • Young Chefs Academy is exactly as it sounds -- an opportunity for aspiring chefs to learn cooking basics and determine if they indeed wish to embark on a culinary career. This school, located in the Tampa suburb of Valrico, caters to youths between the ages of three and 15 and teaches them to cook in several different styles. The school's classes are routinely featured on local TV broadcasts.
