Armenian Language Courses

The Armenian language is used by 8 to 9 million people worldwide, mostly in the Armenian Republic. The language contains 38 letters and two additional digraphs (two combined letters that produce a distinctive sound), giving the language a total of 40 different sounds. The Armenian language has a long history. A 5th-century Bible translation is the language's oldest surviving text. Today, there are two major dialects of the Armenian Language, Eastern and Western, and various courses to learn it.

    Practice Makes Perfect

    • The best way to learn a language is to actually speak it with others who either know the language or are also learning it. One of the best ways to improve your Armenian is to find someone to practice with.

If you don't already know someone who is learning to speak the language or already knows it, My Language Exchange provides an online service that matches up people looking to practice certain languages, including Armenian. Once you've done some initial learning, head to My Language Exchange and find someone to practice with.
