How to Become an AKA in the Sorority

Alpha Kappa Alpha is an African-American sorority that was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University. The primary goal of this sorority is to serve communities through its various chapters on campuses around the country. With the Emerging Young Leaders Initiative, this program sponsors forums that help young people become civic-minded leaders who can influence their communities. The sorority also sponsors health awareness initiatives that promote the importance of establishing healthy habits.
