How to Make a Cougarweb ID

CougarWeb is an online portal for students and staff of Collin College. It is named after the school's mascot, the cougar. Each student has a unique CougarWeb ID and password to log in to the service. It provides customized information from around the Web along with access to important information from the school. For example, logging into CougarWeb gives you access to the schedule of classes for each semester. There is also a link for technical support should you need it.

Instructions

  1. New Students

    • 1

      Apply for admission to Collin College. If you were a former student who hasn't attended in more than a year, you must reapply for admission.

      Check your email for a letter from the Admissions and Records Office accepting you into Collin College. In it will be your CougarWeb ID and password.

      Log in to the CougarWeb homepage to ensure that this new CougarWeb ID and password work properly. If not, click on the "Support" link on the homepage to get help from technical support to make your login credentials work.

    Current Students

      Check your email for a letter from the Admissions and Records Office that you should have received when you were first admitted into Collin College. Your CougarWeb ID and password should be in that email.

      Email "[email protected]" to ask for your identification and password if you can't find it. You must include your full name and date of birth so that you can be identified properly and the correct user name and password are sent to you.

      Check your email for a response from the CougarWeb admin which should have your ID and password in it. You should log in to make sure that they work properly right away.
