The University of Georgia has seven student residence communities. Some of the communities, including the East Campus Village and Reed Community, consist of multiple residence halls. In addition to on-campus dorms, University of Georgia offers graduate and family housing. One- and two-bedroom apartments are available in three on-campus apartment complexes for graduate-level students and students who are married or living with at least one dependent. The University of Georgia is comprised of 16 colleges and schools, the oldest of which was founded in 1801. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Georgia State University has three on-campus residence options: Freshman Hall, University Commons and The Lofts. The Freshman Hall can accommodate over 300 first-year students and features suite-style floor plans. University Commons is a complex of four apartment buildings surrounding a large courtyard. The apartments are two- and four-bedroom and the complex can accommodate 2,000 students. The Lofts are located adjacent to the campus and have a capacity of 450 students. The apartments in this residence are loft-style and fully furnished. Georgia State University offers both undergraduate and graduate academic programs. The university is comprised of six colleges that include the College of Education and College of Arts and Sciences. Georgia State University is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Georgia Southern University has 10 university housing options. Students may elect to live in a traditional dorm-style room in Brannen Hall or Watson-Commons Pods, or in a larger apartment in one of the other eight residence communities. Some university housing is reserved for upperclassmen, including the University Villas and Sanford apartments. Residential Interest Groups afford students the ability to live with others who share academic interests; these clusters are housed in the Eagle Village 2 residential hall. Georgia Southern University has eight colleges, including the College of Business Administration and College of Information Technology. Both undergraduate and graduate programs are available. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
