Compare benefits and charges for each card. Run a cost-benefit analysis to determine whether the cost to obtain the card will be worth the discounts you receive. For example, if you purchase the card for $30 but anticipate saving only $15 on the items you intend to buy with the card, you should look for a different offer.
Go to the website for the student discount card you choose. Select "Join Now," "Add to Cart" or the company's equivalent. Enter your name, school, graduation date and any additional personal information required.
Upload a photograph if the student discount card you choose requires one. Some companies offer an optional photograph for the card for an additional fee.
