How to Transfer to Another Miami Dade Campus

With nearly 175,000 registered students on eight campuses throughout Dade County in Florida, Miami Dade College is largest state-funded institution of higher learning in the United States. Each campus (except for the medical) offers general liberal-arts courses as well as specialties. For example, the Hialeah Campus offers courses on the path to a science degree. Miami Dade students are permitted to take classes at any Miami Dade campus, aside from the medical campus.

      Visit the Miami Dade College website and review the eight campuses to determine which campus you would like to take your classes at.

      On the web page, open the "Open Class Search" search engine. Search available course by selecting the term, campus, class time, and course I.D. Select which courses you would like to register for and make note of their course codes.

      Register for classes by logging in to the Miami Dade website using your student log-in information, selecting the "Register Now" option, and following the prompts.
