Within 30 days after graduation, Penn State students can request a free unofficial transcript, also known as an advising transcript. Advising transcripts contain the same information as official transcripts, including credits, hours, course names and numbers, grades and grade point average. However, an advising transcript is not certified by the University Registrar as an official and accurate document. It is primarily used for the personal and advising purposes and is never mailed to third parties.

Go to the eLion portal on the Penn State website.

Log into your student account with your user ID and password.

Locate and access the transcripts application and request your advising transcript as directed on-screen.
