Internet sources can be a vital part of research for a paper and it is important to accurately cite your sources. The American Psychological Association (APA) developed the style, which is most commonly used with papers in the social sciences. APA style, like MLA (Modern Language Association) style, uses the author-date method for in-text citations. Some internet sources do still have authors but there are alternative citing options if your source doesn't have an author.
