How to Withdraw From a University

Students called on active military duty or volunteer emergency service, in the case of a natural disaster, have an expedited withdrawal process, but it depends on the university. Every university sets its own rules regulating a student's complete withdrawal, but almost all set deadlines require a student to make a complete withdrawal before a class progresses too far into the semester. A student who accepts financial aid from the government must complete loan counseling and submit it online or with the bursar's office before leaving the university.
