Bauder College offers an associate of art degree in fashion design and fashion merchandising. The fashion design program will prepare students for a job in design. Students will learn illustration, pattern making, draping, and construction. The fashion merchandising program will teach students an all-around understanding of the fashion industry. Students will learn how buy and sell clothes for profit.

The Art Institute of Atlanta allows students to earn a bachelor's or associate degree in a wide variety of creative fields. This college offers a fashion and retail management program. According the the school, this program will teach students how to develop and put new sales strategies into place. This includes inventory control, cost analysis, and buying and merchandising practices. Students will also get a chance to learn how to coordinate fashion runway shows.

AIU offers a range of degree programs for students interested in fashion. Not only does it offer flexible classes to allow even the busiest person to get a degree, AIU also keeps its programs industry current. At AIU, students can earn an associate of arts degree in fashion design or fashion marketing, or a bachelor of fine arts in fashion design, costume design, fashion marketing, or fashion marketing and design.

CAU is part of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities system. HBCUs encourage all races and ethnicities to become students; the main difference between HBCUs and other colleges is that HBCUs were founded when African-Americans were not allowed to go to primarily white colleges. Today HBCUs foster a learning environment that builds on African-American culture and history. CAU offers a bachelor of arts in fashion design or fashion merchandising. CAU encourages students to study abroad to get a global sense of fashion. It has programs in London, Paris, and Milan.
