Left justify the first line when citing an article for a bibliography; then, indent all subsequent lines after the first line. Begin with the name of the article's author, last name first, with a comma between the first and last names. Add a period after the first name.
Enter the name of the article followed by a period, all of which you must place inside quotation marks.
Add the name of the publication, followed by the volume number with no comma between the publication name and the volume number.
Add the month and year of publication in parentheses, followed by a colon and the page numbers, which should be hyphenated and followed by a period. The final bibliographic citation will look like this:
Reynolds, Carl. "The Many Ways to Cite an Article." College Research Journal 63
(January 2002): 55-60.

Cite articles within the text of your paper by setting the last name of the author, the year of the publication, and the page number you are referencing within parentheses.
Use a comma between the year of publication and the page number. o not use any other punctuation.
