How to Transfer AP Scores to College Credit Hours

Many high schools offer honors and advanced placement (AP) classes. These classes are designed to provide high school students with an education that is more advanced and in-line with college coursework. To make sure the knowledge you gained from the AP class is consistent with an equivalent college class, AP students must take the AP test in that particular subject before they are given college credit for the test. Once the AP test is complete, the college must receive your score report. Once the score report is received, the college will automatically give you credit for completion of the AP class.
