This includes learning about nail disorders and infections, anatomy and nail structure and professional conduct in a salon environment. These basics help teach nail technicians the necessary aspects to obtain certification as a professional nail technician. Some schools and programs also include subjects such as product sales and running a salon business.
Nail technician programs teach basic skills that include manicure and pedicure procedures, nail art and nail wraps and repairs.
