Schools for Commercial Refrigeration & Restaurant Equipment

Commercial refrigeration is a rapidly-growing industry. Employment is expected to grow by at least 28% between 2008 and 2018, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The median wage for a trained commercial refrigeration specialist was about $19 per hour in May of 2008. Installation and repair of restaurant equipment is often handled by sheet metal workers, who make about $19 per hour in a field which is growing more slowly than others.
