ESI Project Management Courses

ESI International is located in Arlington, Va., and it offers learning programs in different fields, including program management, project management, and business principles and techniques. You can take classes from this school either online or at the school's Virginia location. Class availability, tuition and fees vary, so contact the school for the latest course information.
  1. PMP Exam Power Prep

    • ESI's PMP Exam Power Prep is a course that prepares you to take the Project Management International (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam. This is a five-day course for students who have previously met the PMI requirements for taking the PMP exam. During the morning session, an instructor reviews key sections of the exam, and you can study on your own in the afternoon. You also can receive personal assistance from your ESI instructor during the afternoon session. You also learn tips on how to take the test, and you review areas that often give students trouble. If you take the exam within 60 days of the course, the school will provide you with free materials if you fail to pass the exam.

    FAC-P/PM

    • You can use the credits that you earn in the Federal Acquisition Certification for Project and Program Managers (FAC-P/PM) course for advanced certifications, including the ESI/George Washington University masters certificate, the Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) and the FAC Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) certification. The course is broken up into three different levels: entry, mid and senior. All of these programs teach you how to manage federal government projects and how to work with budgets.

    PMP Exam Preparation

    • The PMP Exam Preparation also is offered by ESI, except that this one focuses on the format and the components of the test. You learn what areas you need to focus on, and you learn how the test is laid out. You also take practice exams and learn why answers were correct or incorrect. Included in the cost of the course is a 600-question set of flashcards, the PMP Challenge and PMI's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge."

    Program Management

    • Program management combines individual projects as well as how these projects fit into the larger vision of the company. The ESI Program Management Learning course teaches program managers how to use different project management, leadership and business skills. You also learn what constitutes a leader and how to ensure that your project is successful every time. If you complete the course, you receive a master's certificate in program management, which is a joint ESI and GWU certificate.
