Utah State's four-year Aviation Maintenance program trains students for entry-level positions in corporate aviation, general aviation ands the airline industry. To enter this program, run by Utah State's Department of Engineering, a GPA of 2.5 is required. Their Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program prepares students for technical jobs within the aerospace industry. Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC) offers both undergraduate and graduate level degrees in Aviation. Their Bachelor of Science program in Aviation Technologies is well respected, providing training on a fleet of 36 aircraft that includes helicopters. Offering a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology, an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Technology and a two-year certificate in Aircraft Maintenance and Repair, Pennsylvania College of Technology prepares students for an array of careers in aerospace. Students work on everything from single-engine, piston-powered aircraft to multi-engine, turbine-powered aircraft. The college owns its own fleet and provides training in an aviation lab. The estimated tuition for a full-time Pennsylvania resident taking15 credits per semester in 2011 is $22,680; for a non-resident it is $25,980.
