Environmental Technical Institute offers 2 programs in HVAC training, one a 6-month course and the other a 12-month course. HVAC certification is granted upon completion of both courses, however the 12 month course is designed for full-time students. The campus is located in Itasca, Illinois and features day and evening classes. The program at ETI prepares students for careers as technicians in the HVAC industry with expertise in installation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems. Students learn the tools of the HVAC trade and how to use them. With many contacts in the industry, ETI has opened the doors for many students with apprenticeship programs after completing their HVAC certification. The Career Placement Department offers placement assistance for graduates in their geographical area.
The Erie Institute of Technology in Erie, Pennsylvania offers certification in all areas of the HVAC industry with hands-on training by experts. TESST College of Technology has been in the business of training students for careers for over 40 years. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, TESST College offers a certification program in HVAC and job placement assistance after successful completion of the courses. Students experience hands-on training with the latest tools available and learn all aspects of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. When students complete their certification they will know how to service and repair these systems. TESST College also offers students assistance in finding part-time jobs while attending school and counseling if needed. Campus tours are available upon request.
