Video Game Programming Schools

When video games first reached the home market in the early 1980s, many people believed it would be a passing fad. Over the years that has proven to be untrue, with video games becoming a part of daily life for many people. The video game industry reached $18.8 billion dollars in 2008, according to Seeking Alpha. The popularity of video games is reaching the popularity of other forms of entertainment, such as music and movies, and universities and technical institutes are rising to the challenge of educating the next generation of gamers to work in the business.
