List of Schools That Offer EMT Classes in Colorado

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are first responders to emergency medical situations, staffing ambulances, offering immediate acute care to the sick or injured and transporting them to local hospitals. The State of Colorado certifies EMTs on three levels--Basic, Intermediate and Paramedic. To be eligible for certification, one must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, and must take EMT classes at a state-approved program. EMT studies are progressive, with each level of certification built on the completion of earlier levels.
