Juvenile Probation Officer Schools

Juvenile probation officers maintain communication with young people who require supervision by the state. This includes submitting reports about a person's behavior, presenting findings in court and keeping track of information about each juvenile in your care. A degree in criminal justice with a concentration in corrections prepares you for a career as a juvenile probation officer. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the field is expected to grow by 19 percent by 2018.
