Located in Oxfordshire, The Oxford School of Drama is one of the most distinguished drama schools in the United Kingdom. The school awards a diploma for a three-year drama course, and a certificate for a one-year course. The Oxford School of Drama also has a Theater and Acting preparation course, which runs for two to six months for those who simply want to test their skills. Each course is accredited by the Trinity College in London, England. According to their website, The Oxford School of Drama is the youngest of the accredited drama schools in the UK.

In terms of stage management, technical work, acting and directing, LAMDA could be considered the most historically productive drama school in the UK. It was formed in 1861 from a combination of other schools including The Academy of Music. Each course is offered through The University of Kent; but, according to the LAMDA website, they are still considered to be an independent drama school. They offer a variety of stage, film and television acting courses and cater to a wide international audience.

Founded in 1880, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama enables you to choose from a broad range of artistic disciplines such as music, drama and opera. Their amenities include a 308-seat theater, which can be used for students to develop their skills for their chosen area. In 2008, the school commenced work on a new 650-seat concert hall, which will also include studios that can be used for rehearsals, television production and teaching, as well as for offices and student support services.
