How to Tour Florida Atlantic University

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is in Boca Raton, Florida and its seven campuses occupy more than 100 miles of Florida's east coastline. The school offers more than 170 degree programs including good business, accounting and ocean engineering programs.       Attend an information session/walking tour. The information session starts in the Admissions Theater with a video presentation and a chance to meet some admissions counselors. After the information session, there is a walking tour of FAU's campus and residence halls. Information session/walking tours take place every weekday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and at 10 a.m. on Saturdays.

      Reserve your spot for an FAU Discovery Day. The Discovery Day is an open house that allows you to attend an information session, a campus tour, a chance to meet with a representative from your study area and learn more about campus organizations, student services, academics and more. You can find dates for Discovery Days and fill out an online reservation form on the FAU website.

      Stop by the Information Booth at FAU to pick up a temporary Visitor Parking permit. Visitor parking is located at the south side of the Student Services building, which is where the information sessions and tours begin.

      Check the FAU website to find local hotel accommodations.

      Arrive in comfortable clothing for walking and bring an umbrella in case of the common Florida showers. Also, be sure to check ahead to see if your tour has been canceled because of weather.
