Reserve your space. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts information sessions Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., followed by a campus tour at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Request a day host in order to attend classes, eat on campus and tour a residence hall. Drop by a dorm. The University of Notre Dame offers 27 residence halls. There are 14 halls for male students and 13 for female residents. Most students remain in the same hall the entire time they live on campus. Each hall has its own chapel, mascot, colors and signature student event. There are no coed facilities on campus.
Stop by Huddle Market in the Lafortune Student Center to catch up with current students. A few conversations will fill you in on what students like and dislike about the campus.
Take pictures of the campus. The campus of Notre Dame offers 1,250 acres of scenery and 137 buildings. There are two lakes, several athletic arenas as well as several internationally known landmarks. You need to visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Golden Dome and the 132 foot high mural of Christ the Teacher located in the Hesburgh Library.
Rate the on-campus dining facilities. North Food Court and South Food Market are the two main dining halls at the University of Notre Dame. The university has three restaurants-Greenfields International Café, Legends of Notre Dame and Reckers. There are eight express eateries scattered across campus. At Huddle Market, you can find Burger King, Subway, Sbarro's Pizza, Starbucks and a convenience store.
Appreciate the opportunities of the Fighting Irish. Currently the university is involved in 26 intercollegiate sports and offers 25 club sports and 64 intramural sports. You can choose from more than 100 recreational and fitness activities. In addition to this, there are numerous opportunities to get involved with student unions, resident hall organizations and spiritual enrichment programs.
