How to Apply for Arizona Leap Grants

Releasing LEAP grant applications July 1 for the upcoming academic year, the Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education (ACPE) set an application deadline of March 1, 2011 for the 2011/2012 academic year. Awarding LEAP grants of $100 to $2,500 for an academic year, the ACPE chooses awardees based primarily on financial need. Funded in 2010 with 50% federal grant dollars and 50% state funds, the Arizona LEAP program provides grants to the most financially needy students in Arizona. The mission of this program is to remove some of the financial barriers for Arizona residents seeking a college degree.
