Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy offers a four-year Pharm.D. program. A bachelor's degree is not required for admission into the program, but it is highly recommended. Prerequisite courses for admission include biology, chemistry, speech and economics. While members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which owns the school, are given preference in the admissions process, the program is open to any student meeting the prerequisites.

University of California, San Diego, offers a four-year Pharm.D. program. The school also offers two joint-degree programs: a B.S in chemistry/Pharm.D and a Pharm.D/Ph.D. program.
