Top Ten Nursing Schools in the Country

Every four years, U.S. News & World Report publishes its list of the top 10 nursing schools in the United States. The publication asks nursing school and department of nursing deans to rank the best programs, and their responses create the list.

As of June 2010, the most recent rankings were from 2007, and the nursing program at the University of Washington took top honors.

Schools in California, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan and North Carolina (a tie) rounded out the top five.
