Double Master's Degree Programs

A double master's degree program offers students the opportunity to earn two separate degrees during the same time. A person with a master's degree will earn an average of $2.5 million over the course of their working lifetime according to the U.S Census Bureau. Master's degree holders earn approximately $1.3 million more than a high school graduate and $400,000 more than a person with a bachelor's degree. These schools offers double master's degree programs with a variety of combination choices.
  1. Bentley University

    • Bentley University offers a double master's degree program where students can choose to obtain a Master of Science degree to accompany their Master of Business Administration degree. Students can choose from seven Master of Science programs that include taxation, marketing analytics, information technology, finance, financial planning, accounting and human factors in information design. These Master of Science degree programs offer their courses during the evening.

    St. John's University

    • St. John's University has a double master's degree program with the concentration areas of library science and pharmacology. Students who pursue this double-degree program will become knowledgeable and competent in pharmaceutical sciences and library and information sciences. Students will study the following areas throughout the program: reference and government documents, pharmacology, toxicology, information science technology, biochemistry and clinical pharmacy.

    Iowa State University

    • Iowa State University offers several options for students to complete a double master's degree program. Students have choices that include architecture and business administration, architecture and community and regional planning, community and regional planning and business administration, landscape architecture and community and regional planning, public administration and community and regional planning, public administration and information assurance, statistics and business administration and information systems and business administration. Students also have the option of putting together their own combination of a double degree master's program and submitting it to the dean for approval.

    Sul Ross State University

    • Sul Ross State University offers a double master's degree program with two concentration areas of criminal justice and public administration. All of the courses in the criminal justice portion of the program are only available online while students take the public administration courses on campus. Upon graduation, students will receive their Master of Science in criminal justice degree and their Master of Arts in public administration degree. Students will take courses including overview and administration of criminal justice, public administration survey, public budget and finance, criminal justice theory and public policy analysis.
